Description
Gun Valet™ is Culper Precision’s premium Firearms shipping service. We provide the boxes, the labels, a hard case, and all the shipping costs, the level of shipment insurance that you are comfortable with, and signature required delivery for a no stress, no hassle, safe and secure shipping experience with your firearm. Now you don’t have to find a box and a hard case and make sure it fits and go to the post office and argue with the attendant about ‘yes it is legal for me to ship a gun to an FFL, I’m not shipping it to a person, its going to a federally licensed firearms manufacturer.” No more of that. Privacy and convenience and you get to keep the hard case at the end.
The ATF classifies our work on your firearm as Gunsmithing, which means that you can send it directly to us, we can perform the work and ship it directly back to you without having to do an FFL transfer.
Gun Valet™ is comprised of three simple steps
Step 1; Add Gun Valet™ to your cart
Step two; Receive shipping box, hard case, and pre-paid shipping label
Step three; put unloaded gun/parts in box, seal box, drop it in the bin at the post office… We take care of the rest.
MORE DETAILS ABOUT GUN VALET;
Step 1; You will receive a brown box, inside will be a hard pistol case, a USPS flat rate box with a prepaid label affixed to it, the return label requires signature delivery confirmation and includes $500 of insurance (higher insurance rates available, if you would like more protection)
Step 2; You must ensure that your firearm is unloaded and that there is no ammunition in any magazines, put the firearm or slide, or parts that we are working on in the hard case, put a copy of your order confirmation from the website in the hard case, put the hard case in the flat rate box, seal the flat rate box.
Step 3; Drop the flat rate box in the big blue bin outside your post office or in the receptacle in the post office, the rates and shipping speeds are all federally compliant, because you are shipping to an FFL the federally managed postal service MUST ship the package and it is protected from loss and damage by shipping insurance. The shipping label also requires signature confirmation of delivery when it is dropped off here by USPS, the reason we do this is when you pay for delivery confirmation, more care is taken in the sorting and handling process ensuring better service during the shipment, and if any issues arise, the package is insured for $500 so you are covered if the post office runs over your gun or something.
We will receive the package, you will be emailed a delivery confirmation, that we received it and the parts will be checked in and work will begin on your firearm. After the work is completed, the firearm will be shipped back to you, insured with signature required delivery so they cannot just leave it on your porch for porch pirates to swipe, and if the worst happens, the shipment is insured for $500 so that you are covered.
