Description
True Blue gun grease uses Dumonde Tech’s MRCC technology that has dominated the bike-chain lubricant market for years. True blue is the same tech but optimized and formulated for the firearms industry and in our opinion is better than everything else we have tried, including slip2K. The initial wetting process evenly distributes the polymerizing contents of the lube to evenly coat wear-points over time in a manner that is very difficult to remove which makes it ideal for use with Cerakoted guns especially in comparison to any other lube product on the market, after the wetting process the carrier evaporates leaving the film of lubrication on the wear points and bringing the added bonus of not attracting dust and grime which it why this tech has so dominated the bike chain lubrication industry. It does not ‘Burn off’ like CLPs will, and has as much as 8 times the lubricity of any other PTFE or suspended Teflon oil. True Blue does not negatively effect o-rings and similar seals so it works great on airguns and the needle tip applicator is excellent for putting a precise amount of lube into tight spaces like slide rails, springs, and sear surfaces.
As to the ‘flash points’ or the temperature at which a lubricant will burn creating carbon build-up, that you see advertised by so many other gun lube brands, a cool feature of True Blue gun oil is that while those other gun oils reach their flash point they convert to abrasive carbon whereas when True Blue reaches flash point it increases the polymerization effects and starts to perform better as a result of a stronger polymerization bond to the surface of your gun parts. This is the biggest factor in why use True Blue over anything else, that is, that hard use of this product improves it’s performance vs, breaking down or worse, carbonizing the lubricant leaving a more abrasive mess for you to clean at your next gun cleaning.
